The Samantha Solar Project is committed to becoming an active member of the community and is working with local leaders to identify community organizations and programs to support. Look for updates to come soon.

In addition, investments from property tax revenue will go towards the White Pine County General Fund, White Pine County Emergency Medical Services, the White Pine County Hospital, and the White Pine County School District, among others.

Local partnerships

To demonstrate our commitment to the community, we aim to work with as many Nevada-based subcontractors for EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) providers as can be sourced. We are also committed to hiring qualified local workers from civil, electrical and mechanical trades.

The Samantha Solar Project team members are committed to responsible development, including:

Conducting comprehensive environmental studies
Ensuring minimal impact on the natural landscape
Implementing a vegetation management plan that conforms to BLM requirements and utilizes re-seeding with native grasses.

We are engaging with community and local neighbors to discuss the benefits of the project, listen to concerns, and collaboratively develop solutions that will address community and county feedback, resulting in a project we can all be proud of. We are committed to transparent and open communication for the long-term to ensure all questions and concerns are addressed in a timely manner throughout development and construction.

Our good faith engagement with the local BLM field office and community members has begun and we look forward to working with the community to build a responsible, well-sited solar project going forward.
